Monday: The Stay Quit Day
Just in time for the Great American Smoke-out on November 20th there's an idea to help smokers sustain their resolution: Stay Quit Monday. Smokers who are planning to quit should consider making the following Monday following their quit date, and every Monday thereafter, their Stay Quit Day. Research shows that the average smoker quits seven times before quitting for good. Using Monday as the day to recommit to quitting can help people live a smoke-free life, one week at a time. Stay Quit Monday is part of the Healthy Monday Campaign, which aims to make Monday a weekly start of a healthier life, whether by stopping smoking, eating healthier or exercising. Learn more>
